PERGOLAS & OUTDOOR LIVING

Sun or shade,
at the turn of a louvre.

A louvred pergola gives you an outdoor room you can open to the sun or close against the rain, just by turning the louvres.

We fit Harbour Lifestyle PergoSTET pergolas, freestanding in the garden or fixed to the house. Add lighting, heaters and side screens and it becomes the place everyone wants to be on a summer evening.

Rain runs off the louvres into gutters and down the posts, so there are no drips on the people underneath.

Five PergoSTET models

Lite and Lite Neo with hand-cranked louvres, Plus and Pro in aluminium with built-in LED lighting, and Deluxe with motorised double-layer louvres on a remote.

Freestanding or wall mounted

Plus, Pro and Deluxe can be fixed to the house. Sizes run from 2.4 × 3 m up to 3 × 10 m, depending on the model.

Sides that work for you

Side blinds, tilting louvred panels, aluminium louvred sliding doors or glass sliding doors, depending on the model.

Evenings outside

LED lighting in the gutter or the louvres, and up to four remote-controlled infrared heaters.

QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Can't see your question? More answers or ask us.

Do I need planning permission for a pergola?

Most freestanding pergolas don't. Under permitted development they should be no more than 2.5 m high within 2 m of a boundary, kept out of the front garden, and not cover more than half the garden. A pergola fixed to the house can be treated like a single-storey extension instead, and listed buildings and conservation areas have stricter rules. We'll check your plans with you before you order.

What happens when it rains?

Close the louvres and they seal together. The rain runs into gutters built into the frame and down through the posts.

Can I fix it to my house?

Yes, the Plus, Pro and Deluxe can be wall mounted. The Lite and Lite Neo are freestanding.

Can it have lighting and heating?

The Plus, Pro and Deluxe have LED lighting built in, and you can add up to four remote-controlled infrared heaters. Wiring needs a power supply nearby, which we'll plan with you.
